What is the venue?
  The venue is an activity complex known Exhibition Ground, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, having three different grounds enclosed to the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Lodi Road, In Southern Part of Delhi, the Capital City of India. It is well connected by buses, which is the lifeline of commuters in Delhi. The grounds are green, spacious and all major activity will take place here.
Are there arrangements for lodging?
  There are some limited arrangements for Solidarity Accommodation. But to other accommodation requirements we will shortly inform this on the website: www.wsfindia.org.

Are discounts on buses, train and air travel available?
  ISF-2006 cannot at present assist you in negotiating train, buses and air travel discount.
 
Activity Registration
How can my group register to set up a panel or activity?
  Activity registration for ISF-2006 has begun online! And will continue till 21th October 2006. Such proposals can be made only by organizations (not individuals). All proposals are welcome except that not in accordance with the Charter of Principles. The forms are currently available only in English but Hindi translation would be available soon. Downloadable activity form will be available from 22 September 2006.
To register an activity you need to log on to www.wsfindia.org on registration task bar.
Do we have to pay any registration/venue charges for organising an event?
  You can log on to send your request to register an activity on www.wsfindia.org
   
  The timing and slot for the Conferences/ Panels/ Seminars/ Workshops will be as follow: There will be Three Slots Each day. Each slot will be of Three Hours duration. The timing of the slots will be from (1) 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, (2) from 12:30 PM to 03:30 PM (3) and from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM from 10th November to 12th November 2006. On 13th November (last day) tentatively there will one slot from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Each three hours slot will be treated as one activity. The rates for organizing one activity per slot rate has been given below.
   
  Booking of Activity spaces for Conferences/ Seminars/ Workshops:
 
Conference Hall (Large) : Rs. 50,000/= (Capacity: 1000 persons)
Conferences Hall (Small) : Rs. 20,000/= (Capacity: 500 persons)
Seminar Hall (large) : Rs. 2,000/= (Capacity: 200 persons)
Seminar Hall (small) : Rs. 1,000/= (Capacity: 75 persons)
Workshop Room : Rs. 500/= (Capacity: 35 persons)
  Note: For Movement Groups and Mass Organisations, the activity registration will be free. Allotment of the spaces will be decided by the Programme Committee/IWC
How many activities can one organisation register, and how can we do so?
  For ISF-2006, each organization can propose a maximum of 04 self-organized activities. The finalised programme schedule would be available online from 21 October 2006 on www.wsfindia.org.
What is going to be the selection criterion for activity proposals?
  Preliminary evaluation of proposals will be carried during October to minimize duplication. The India Working Committee (IWC) and the Programme Committee will meet to define the set of criterions for selection and work out the final programme list. The final decision to award self organised activity rests with the Programme Committee/IWC of the ISF-2006. (Subject to the availability of space)
How can my performance group arrange a cultural activity?

Delegate Registration
Registration and accreditation facility will open on 09 November 2006
  Registration and accreditation facilities will open on 09 November 2006 03:00 PM to 10:00 PM on at the ISF-2006 venue in Jawahar Lal Nehru grounds (Main Entrance). These facilities will remain open from 09AM to 7PM until 13 November 2006.
Venue: Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003.
To reach the venue:
By train: After reaching at New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Nizamuddin Railway Station, Take an auto rickshaw/Taxi/Bus to go to Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003.
What will be the registration fees?
  Registration Charges/Fees (ISF-2006):
 
Delegates form USA, EU, S.America
: US$25 per organization+US$10 per delegate
Delegates from India, Asia, Africa & Individuals
: Rs. 100 per delegate
Organization
: Rs. 500+100 per delegate
: Rs. 25 Per delegate (If more than 40 delegates)
Daily Registration Fee
: Rs. 25/- Per person
   
  Note: Registration for the above-mentioned detailed will be done on the registration counter on the Venue: Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium for ISF-2006, after the payment of fee accordingly, on 9th November 2006

Can my group be linked to the WSF-India website?
  At present WSF-India provides links to only the various Social Forums. You can however contact your regional social forum and seek a link to be displayed in their website. This ensures efficient and equitable representation of links to all organisations that are a part of the WSF process.
